10 WWE Superstars Whose Entrance Music Was Better Than They Were

1. Gangrel

Gangrel had one of the most memorable entrances of the Attitude Era. He would quite literally rise from the middle of a ring of fire, holding a chalice of what appeared to be human blood. As the crimson lights flickered throughout the arena, Gangrel would strut down the entrance ramp until he reached the steps, at which point he'd take a large swig of "blood" and spit it into the crowd.

To make his entrance all the more eerie, he had this song to accompany him. A disconcerting anthem accompanied by unintelligible whispers, this theme was tailor-made for a vampire.

Over time, however, it became apparent that his entrance was the only good thing about him.

Gangrel was, to put it kindly, not a good worker. It didn't help that he was often flanked by much better workers, like Edge, Christian, or the Hardy Boyz. On top of that, he did not sound menacing whatsoever. He was so bad on the mic, he almost managed to bury himself entirely in his very first promo. Now, that takes a special sort of talent.

Today, he's remembered solely for his killer entrance music, and looking back, it's not very hard to see why.
