10 WWE Superstars Whose Entrance Music Was Better Than They Were

2. The Ascension

If these two were still the destructive force that they were in NXT, this shredding entrance music would've worked much better. And to be fair, it does still match their aesthetic.

Opening with the screech of an electric guitar, the song transitions into a fast-paced metal anthem reminiscent of Slayer or Metallica. Then, out come these two facepainted dudes with leather shoulder pads, striking fear and intimidation into the hearts of the crowd.

Or at least it would have in 2014.

See, ever since The Ascension were called up to the main roster, they have been a joke. Immediately dismissed as a poor man's L.O.D./Demolition, the once-dominant duo were completely buried within weeks. The problem was that their entrance music (which has remained unchanged) still suggested that they were a threat.

Sure, it wouldn't make sense for WWE to give them a less-menacing entrance theme just because they're a punchline, but it's fair to say that they don't live up to the theme they enter to.
