10 WWE Superstars You Never Knew Wrestled In Japan

2. Kevin Nash

Kevin Nash Japan Big Daddy Cool didn€™t quite live up to his moniker during his first two tours with the red-hot New Japan in 1991 and 92. Although he only wrestled a handful of matches on his two tours Nash made quite an impression as The Great Oz. That€™s The Great and Powerful Oz, from the movie The Wizard of Oz. Yes, that notoriously naff gimmick made it to the home of what was one of the most serious and respected grapple organisations in the world. Clad in the garish neon green that was so popular during the cartoon era, Big Sexy kicked and punched and slammed and kicked and punched and clubbed and punched...well, he pretty much did exactly what he€™s been doing throughout his whole career. Still, the sight of Nash as Oz wrestling alongside the likes of Liger and Scott Norton has an endearingly surreal quality to it. Nash has returned to Japan several times since most recently for NJPW€™s Wrestle Kingdom III in front of 40,000 fans at the Tokyo Dome in 2009. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C5nhXj-PQLQ
