10 WWE Superstars You Won't Believe Defeated The Undertaker

4. Mabel (King Of The Ring 1995)

Before King Corbin, there was King Mabel, one of the worst Superstars WWE ever put the prestigious crown on.

While Mabel always made the most of whatever he was a part of, he wasn't great in the ring and should have never been pushed at the main event level. However, it was 1995 and WWE was desperate to get even the worst gimmicks over, which is what led Mabel to winning that year's King of the Ring tournament.

Mabel vs. Savio Vega in the final was every bit as underwhelming as it sounds, but even more mind-boggling was that Mabel first beat Undertaker in the quarterfinals earlier the evening. It was going to be a dud of a match regardless, but the least WWE could have done was save Mabel vs. Undertaker for the final so it would have meant more when Mabel won.

Better yet, The Phenom would have been a better fit for that spot given how much of a flop King Mabel was in the summer of 1995. Undertaker eventually avenged the loss by beating Mabel in a Casket match at In Your House 5: Season's Beatings, but it wasn't enough to erase the memory of Mabel defeating him when it mattered most.
