10 WWE Superstars You Won't Believe Never Held Intercontinental Title
9. Brock Lesnar
The opportunity for Brock Lesnar to capture the Intercontinental Championship presented itself fairly early in his run through the WWE roster.
After defeating Rob Van Dam in the finals of the King of the Ring tournament in June 2002, Lesnar engaged Mr. Pay-Per-View in a month-long feud designed to bridge the gap between the tourney victory and a date with WWE Undisputed Champion The Rock at SummerSlam.
At that year's July event, titled Vengeance, Lesnar challenged the former ECW standout but was not successful when his agent Paul Heyman caused the disqualification.
