A recent SummerSlam conference call turned into TwitterGate 2 for Seth Rollins after he was again drawn on the post-WWE activities of former partner Dean Ambrose.

It's easy not to feel that much sympathy for the 'Beast Slayer' after his misguided prods at Will Ospreay and company critics at large during a bizarre outburst earlier this year. The roots of his rage seem somewhat confused, with his main point of consternation centred around just how f*cking hard on the body and mind it is to be a WWE Superstar. Seemingly ignorant to the subtext of his sh*tstirring, Rollins has turned much of his loyal fanbase against him as also they slip further through WWE's butterfingers, just as Ambrose did when he left to become one of 2019's most vital pro wrestlers.

Jon Moxley's reinvention exists, of all places, on the WWE Network. The company's own cameras shot his injury layoff and emotional unravelling that informed his thirst for a fresh start, but Ambrose's summer comeback was designed entirely to serve the needs of his friend Seth.

A panicked requirement to keep Rollins busy was the sort of creative an empowered 'Architect' could have helped 'The Lunatic Fringe' fight against, but doing that would surely disprove his believe about the company being the best in the world. The whole thing was destined for disaster, just months before 'Mox' finally broke free.
