10 WWE Tag Teams That Never Feuded

7. The Colossal Connection

Had Andre The Giant been in a healthier state in 1990, there’s every chance the break up of the Colossal Connection would have seen a genuine feud between the lofty Frenchman and his erstwhile partner. Alas, it wasn’t to be, and while the two brawled briefly following their WrestleMania VI split and Andre’s final face turn, that was the end of the road.

It’s probably for the best, as neither man was in much of a state to work at a speed above “plodding”, but this would be a fantasy shoot fight for the ages. Haku, the de facto toughest man to ever live, against a genuine giant: it sells itself.

We’ll have to settle for their brief run as a team, which was highlighted by a sole championship run and the always-enjoyable managerial chops of Bobby Heenan. Rarely has a team been in such dire need of a mouthpiece - the two weren’t exactly gifted on the mic - but we weren’t there to hear Haku and Andre speak.

They’ll be best remembered as singles guys, of course, but rarely has a team felt so genuinely dangerous.
