10 WWE Tag Teams Where Both Members Were The Marty Jannetty
7. Paul London And Brian Kendrick
You don't just become the longest-reigning Tag Team Champions of all time - up until being bested by The New Day - for no reason. It was clear that these two were highly regarded in the company as both were exciting high-flyers, played great babyface champions and seemed to be destined for great things.
Sadly Paul London would end up getting fired after an unfortunate incident with Vince McMahon. London was caught smiling at the boss during the segment that saw McMahon walk to his limousine before it exploded. This angered The Chairman, and eventually, after being given little TV time, London was released. He went on the slate the company post-departure and found little success in the independent market, now working as a backstage producer for Impact.
On the other hand, Kendrick stuck around with the company after the split, turning heel and rebranding as The Brian Kendrick. His new heelish energy was eye-catching, but he didn't find significant success with it. He's stuck around in the industry, becoming a veteran, performing in companies like TNA and even forming his own short-lived promotion - Brian Kendrick's Wrestling Pro Wrestling.
However, his star hasn't shone too brightly, excluding a Cruiserweight Championship run during his WWE return. He now works backstage for the company and seems to be a valued employee.
