10 WWE Thoughts Prior To Attending WrestleMania 32

3. The Midcard Matches Have To Get Enough Time

Perhaps more than any other WrestleMania in recent memory, this show needs to be carried by its undercard. As mentioned, while the main events feature Shane McMahon, Triple H, and Roman Reigns, there are bouts further down the pecking order that could easily steal the show.

As good as AJ Styles, Chris Jericho, and the three women competing for the Divas' Championship are, though, they can only work with the time they're given - and even though, as I pointed out, this show will be extremely long, there's no guarantee how the company will use the time. WWE loves to fill WrestleMania with expertly-produced but largely unnecessary clip packages and jokey backstage cutaways, and those could potentially take time away from would-be great bouts.

For evidence, look no further than WrestleMania 26. The program between CM Punk and Rey Mysterio was thrilling, and many fans hoped that the two men would get a chance to have a classic WrestleMania outing. Unfortunately, the contest lasted 6:28 and ended up ultimately forgettable. Hopefully, none of the potentially-excellent matches here suffer a similar fate.
