WWE haven't presented another Capitol Punishment show since, meaning R-Truth's WWE Title shot against John Cena wasn't the only one-off in June, 2011. The pay-per-view poster depicted then-US President Barrack Obama in a referee's shirt, with Rey Mysterio and John Cena on either side of him.

That might've been a better main event than Truth vs. Cena was, and that's even allowing for the former's great work as an unpredictable, borderline deranged heel. R-Truth did everything he could to whip up interest in his title match, but the fact remained that nobody seriously believed he'd beat Cena. This was a 'B' level headliner at best.

Sandwiched in between the end of Cena's feud with The Miz and the start of his brilliant series with CM Punk, the Truth match just kinda' existed. Until reading about it here, there's even a chance some fans had forgotten it even happened in the first place.
