7. Andrade "Cien" Almas Vs. Tetsuya Naito
Right now, Tetsuya Naito is the leader of Los Ingobernables De Japon, a spinoff of the Los Ingobernables stable from CMLL. The original leader of that stable was La Sombra, a luchador who mentored Naito during his Mexican excursion and helped him shed the Stardust Genius persona.
In the years that followed, La Sombra left CMLL and rebranded himself as Andrade "Cien" Almas. Like his friend Naito, he found great difficulty ingratiating himself to audiences as a babyface. Nearly doomed to irrelevance in NXT, Almas gained a new attitude (and an attractive manager), and quickly rose through the ranks as one of the brand's top heels.
These changes paid off some months ago, with Almas dethroning Drew Galloway as the NXT Champion. Years after helping Tetsuya Naito with his own glow-up, Almas has now done the same for himself.
