Why It Should Happen: It's a huge match that would be a great nostalgiafest for Attitude Era fans. Of all the Attitude Era wrestlers that Austin could go up against, Triple H seems like the safest bet, for a number of reasons. First and foremost, Triple H is the least broken down of the bunch and is still in absolutely fantastic shape. He proved at WrestleMania 31 that he could drag a past-it Sting to a respectable match. He could do the same for Austin. Triple H is a total pro and ring general and could easily guide himself and Austin to something decent. In terms of ammunition for their feud? Well, Austin's never been a fan of Authority figures so it's only natural that he would want to make sure The Authority were no longer in power. He could claim that he was coming back to save the WWE the same way he did in the late 90s when he kept Mr. McMahon in check. If WWE want to go another route with it, they could use Austin and Triple H's controversial WWE Network podcast from February (the one that cost Austin the gig) and weave it into the storyline. What Are The Chances: Good. Triple H would be near the top of the list of Austin opponents, should he fancy a match at WrestleMania 32. They have a ready-made story to go with and, in the ring, it has potential.
