Why It Should Happen: It's two of wrestlings biggest stars, two of the only guys to truly breakthrough to the mainstream, facing off against each other at WrestleMania. When Austin left the WWE as an active in-ring performer in 2003, people speculated about who was going to replace him as the top guy. Turns out that man was John Cena. Sure, it took a couple of years, but Cena got there. He's been on top ever since. Perhaps Austin is a little bit p***ed off that somebody else is top of the mountain while his career was cut short due to injury. Maybe Austin believes that he needs to remind the world who WWE's biggest star really was. A Cena versus Austin programme writes itself. Austin is the universally loved beer-drinking Texas bada** who does what he wants, when he wants. John Cena is a never give up, work hard and play by the rules kind of guy. He's PG. Austin wears black trunks and black boots. Cena jean shorts and sneakers. There's a personality clash there, one which should be exploited for monetary gain. There's also the issue of John Cena's misuse of the Stunner. Austin has made no secret of the fact that he's not a fan of Cena's execution of the move, so perhaps he should show Cena firsthand how it should really be done. What Are The Chances: It's really hard to say. Cena versus Austin is the major match, besides a pre-streak ending Undertaker versus Cena, that many fans desperately want to see. WWE would be placing Cena in a no-win situation by putting him against Austin in Texas. But Cena has proved time and time again that he can deal with crowd hostility and would probably welcome the challenge. Remember how he thrived in front of the ECW diehards at One Night Stand 2006? In the ring, it wouldn't be a technical masterpiece or anything, but the heat would be off-the-charts. Again, if WWE are going to do Cena versus Austin, they need to do it ASAP.
