10 WWE WrestleMania Matches That Had To Follow Something Infamously Terrible

9. The NFL Invitational Battle Royal Following Clara Peller (WrestleMania 2)

Clara Peller had the proverbial one job at WrestleMania 2, and it was to do the single thing that had briefly made her a pop culture phenomenon approximately two years earlier.

The Wendy's "Where's The Beef?" campaign was designed around Peller parroting the catchphrase as the restaurant put over just how much g*ddamn MEAT they had in their burgers compared to those of their rivals. She was theoretically a great fit for the Battle Royal she was there to laughably oversee - the match pit WWE and NFL stars against one another before Andre The Giant did what Andre The Giant used to do and won the whole thing with relative ease.

North of 80, Peller was making the best of the fame just by taking the role, but wasn't so hot with the use of the live microphone she was given. Swinging it wildly rather than speaking into it after visibly asking "now?" during her rushed cue, Peller didn't so much tee up William Perry et al as she did inadvertently banter them off entirely.
