10 WWE WrestleMania Matches That Were Just Too Long

6. Psycho Sid Vs. The Undertaker (WrestleMania 13)

Some matches just shouldn't go on last. Anyone who's watched WrestleMania 13 knows that Bret Hart and Steve Austin's submission match probably should have closed things out, since nothing was topping it. The Chicago Street Fight right afterward held its own with 11 minutes of non-stop violence. After a 40-45 minute block of show-saving excitement, Sid was sent out there to have his monster melee with Undertaker for the gold.

The match was hindered by serious limitations, and the high amount of rest holds, particularly in the early going, didn't help matters. The addition of a no-DQ modifier didn't add much life, either. Undertaker getting a long-overdue marquee win for the belt (as a babyface) is the lone salvager of a dreadfully-boring 21-minute match. Halving it might have helped.
