10 WWE WrestleMania Matches That Were Just Too Long

4. Triple H Vs. The Rock Vs. Big Show Vs. Mick Foley (WrestleMania 2000)

In a year where WWE produced some of its greatest events in its storied history, WrestleMania 2000 wasn't one of them. It was a show of excess, one that tried too hard to live up to its name, with too many multi-man matches and enough overbooking to submerge a continent. The main event not only floundered with over-thought, but its extreme length.

The elimination match stretched across 36 and a half minutes, an insane amount of time for a period still mired by Crash TV wanderlust and decadence. Show was out in less than five minutes, further damaging his dwindling stock. Once Foley was eliminated, Rock and Triple H seemed mostly out of fresh ideas, and limped to the stunning finish. A Rock win would probably have justified the bloat.
