10 WWE WrestleMania Matches That Were Just Too Long

3. Yokozuna Vs. Lex Luger (WrestleMania 10)

The story was that the Royal Rumble double-finish (Luger and Bret Hart both winning) earned each man a title shot at WrestleMania. This predated triple threat matches, so each man was granted a separate shot. Luger went first, and since Yokozuna was winning by a convoluted disqualification, that meant he'd wrestle Hart later. Thus, he'd have to pace himself.

Pace himself he did. The slow, murky match featured numerous rest holds from the goliath champion, no doubt conserving his strength for the important crescendo with Hart. Problem is that this match went almost 15 dull minutes, and the unsatisfying screwjob ending infuriated the New York crowd. In the end, the match was little more than a colossal waste of time.
