The Young Bucks owe Sami Zayn a lot.

They learned the importance of gregariously hawking merch from the former El Generico in PWG, and applied his advice to their digital revolution of the revenue stream. A profound professional respect exists between Zayn and the EVPs, who worked several superb and memorable matches together in the influential promotion. AEW will doubtlessly extend him an offer whenever he becomes a free agent. The company is the best at promoting babyfaces since WWE in the last century, and as El Generico, Sami Zayn was phenomenal at every facet of the art: fire, athleticism, wit, emotion.

But does he want to go?

The man is a legendary perfectionist - so much so that he's legendarily annoying as a result - and AEW will afford him the platform to refine everything he does.

Zayn however revealed to Renee Pacquette that he enjoys a "shocking" amount of creative freedom already, not that it infotms a consistent arc on WWE TV. "Shocking" here feels very relative. Look at what he's doing now. After feuding with Kevin Owens, again, he is now the bridge towards the Mysterio family fallout.

He rants about conspiracies off and on in between, but it can't be all that fulfilling - and the last time he felt unfulfilled, he and Kevin Owens were removed from a European tour for refusing to feed for the New Day.
