10 WWE Wrestlers Cursed At WrestleMania
9. Samoa Joe
While Samoa Joe been enjoyable as a commentator, many fans hoped to see him return in time for WrestleMania 37, but when it comes to ‘The Grandest Stage of Them All,’ Joe has had some of the worst luck of all.
He might have made his Raw debut in 2017, but he only competed at one WrestleMania ever since.
By the summer of 2017, he suffered a knee injury at a house show. He returned later but was soon out again with a foot injury. Joe managed to show up and defeat Rey Mysterio at WrestleMania 35, but for most of 2019, he was out of action and took over commentary for Dio Madden.
It wasn’t long after returning that Joe was injured again, this time during a 2020 Raw commercial shoot. Things didn’t get better from there. WWE suspended Joe for a Wellness Policy violation four days later, and he didn’t make a full comeback until he ended back on the Raw commentary team.
Joe is one WWE wrestler who has failed to shake off his curse, and again in 2021, it’s unlikely that fans will see him step back between the ropes in time for 'The Showcase of the Immortals.'
