10 WWE Wrestlers Who Deserve A Payrise

8. Cody Rhodes

Cody Rhodes is the quiet work engine who gets on with the job. You wouldn't say he had a spectacular 2014, but he was always there working away and giving his employer the best. He started out the year in entertaining tag matches with Goldust against The New Age Outlaws. However, the run failed to capitalise on Cody's exciting 2013. His push was quietly dropped, and WWE later repackaged him as Stardust. In the latter half of 2014, Stardust had some great matches with Goldust against The Usos. Basically, you know when Cody is in the ring, that it is going to be something good. He's a great worker. He's got mat skills, aerial skills, the lot. WWE counted on his contributions heavily in 2014. To have guys like Cena, you need guys like Cody holding up the foundations of the show. He's a reliable and solid hand, which WWE should recognise with a pay increase. The last reported salary of Cody was $520k. As one of the key men in the midcard, he's definitely worth pushing into the $600k bracket.
