10 WWE Wrestlers Who Deserve A Payrise

3. Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins is a brilliant example of someone who has undergone a major evolution in the past year. He transformed himself from the workhorse of The Shield into the standout member of the group. WWE took notice and broke him away as an upper mid card heel - but Rollins proved so good that he quickly became the number one main event heel in the company! He's occupied that top spot for months now. He closed the Hell In A Cell pay per view and Survivor Series pay per view. He's also main evented multiple Raw shows, and featured in various segments with top babyface John Cena. His next stop will be the main event of the 2015 Royal Rumble, where it will be Rollins Vs Cena Vs Lesnar for the WWE Championship. That's the level that the talented heel is at now, rubbing shoulders with Cena and Brock. However, due to the change in pay per view bonuses, he won't necessarily be making the same amount of money he might have made in the PPV era for this run. As compensation for this, he deserves a payrise. The last report on his salary was $350,000, which sounds accurate to what someone a year into the company and on the midcard would be making. He's now in a vastly different position to what he was a year ago and could reasonably expect to double his money. At this point there's little disputing it, he is a main event act.
