10 WWE Wrestlers Who Deserve A Payrise

4. Dean Ambrose

Dean Ambrose is a great example for any aspiring wrestler. He started out by paying his dues on the indies, then came to the WWE and functioned as a key midcard worker in The Shield. He was rewarded handsomely for his efforts, to the tune of $300,000. He also gained critical acclaim, leading WWE to push him as a main event star as 2014 closed out. He went on last at both Hell In A Cell and the TLC pay per views. The role of Ambrose has completely changed. He's no longer just a wheel in the Shield machine, he's now a fully fledged engine on his own. The $700,000 salary of upper mid carders / main eventers is now appropriate for the headlining star. From day one, he's always been in the top tier of the company, with his rookie year looking more like a prime year.
