10 WWE Wrestlers DOOMED Without Vince McMahon

10. Shane McMahon

Shane McMahon overstepped WWE's boundaries to such a degree that Vince felt compelled to cut his own son loose following Royal Rumble 2022, where even the neutered version of Shane's heavy-handed creative approach saw him go toe-to-toe with former MMA fighter Riddle, eliminate Kevin Owens, and draw Brock Lesnar's ire.

Fightful Select reported on 25 July that Vince claimed Shane would "never get another pop in this company as long as I'm around." The source noted, however, that they felt this was a heat-of-the-moment remark, and may not have held firm.

It wouldn't have. Vince is tempestuous, rash, and prone to changing his mind at the drop of a hat. He would have let Shane back through Titan Towers' door, 100%. Triple H and Stephanie, however?

A "divide" exists between Shane and Stephanie, who became co-WWE CEO after her dad resigned in disgrace. PWTorch reported last month that no reconciliation is on the horizon, seemingly ruling Shane out of a prominent WWE role. Meanwhile, rumours of heat between brothers-in-law Shane and Triple H go back years.

The days of hotshotted Shane O'Mac comebacks are numbered. The 52-year-old glory-hound's potato fists are on ice.
