10 WWE Wrestlers In Danger Of Missing Out On WrestleMania 41

1. Randy Orton

Randy Orton is another who just wouldn't have been here had Kevin Owens not gone wild on Sami Zayn during the most recent episode of Raw. Before that, it looked destined to be KO vs. Randy at 'Mania, but now some fans aren't so sure. WWE may lean towards the latest chapter in warfare between on/off pals/enemies Owens and Zayn instead, thus keeping Randy back for later in the year.

The 'Viper' will get his revenge on Kev, that's for sure. Whether or not he returns to screens imminently and attacks his former tag-team partner has been booted right up into the clouds by Owens hitting a gnarly piledriver on Sami. Of course, KO vs. Zayn could happen at Elimination Chamber in Toronto, then Randy could show up afterwards to get the ball rolling on his 'Mania match with Kevin.

That mysterious 'will they/won't they?' feeling is precisely why Orton is number one though. It'd be a bit rubbish for him personally if Triple H decided to press pause on his return until after Vegas. That's a big payoff to miss out on, and a fit and firing Randy Orton is a massive star to leave off the lineup.

Nothing is certain here, but Orton is in the danger zone for missing WrestleMania. He probably won't be there for long. This is worth discussing, at least, because Hunter has to think about what happens once April's marquee weekender is in the rear view mirror. The boss might fancy using Owens vs. Orton as a headliner for an upcoming 'B' level PLE instead.
