10 WWE Wrestlers In Dire Need Of Something New

1. Kevin Owens

Kevin Owens has lost some of his edge and WWE might agree. Although WWE’s recent categorization of him as an Intercontinental Title contender and Owens’ subsequent response claiming he was in the wrong category could be story-driven, K.O. has been lost in the mid-card shuffle for what seems like forever. He needs something to get his edge back.

Owens requires some reinventing similar to what Seth Rollins did with his Monday Night Messiah persona. He could establish that a talent of his caliber only fights the big fights thus putting an arrogant heel spin on his prizefighter persona.

Tweaking Owens’ persona would include a more arrogant entrance theme and really playing up that he won’t take fights that are beneath him. He could take count outs against guys like Apollo Crews and Shorty G and take whatever shortcut it takes to make the big fights happen.
