Aleister Black has definitely lost some shine since debuting on Raw in 2019. Black has gone from the guy with the vignettes, cool entrance, and undefeated streak to the guy who got his eye crushed and gets beat clean. There is a way to stop his downward spiral into obscurity.
Black’s character is a bit stale but to solve this problem, he should look no further than right under his own roof. His real-life wife is Zelina Vega, and she is on a hot streak. Vega was able to help elevate Andrade and Angel Garza. She is super talented and would be the fire Black needs to be a more compelling character.
Black and Vega would make a dynamic on-air couple because they are so different, but that’s what sometimes works. They found a connection outside the ring, and it’s time for WWE to see if they can do the same inside of it.
