10 WWE Wrestlers Most Likely To Be Released In 2016
10. Viktor
Since 2013, The Ascension is all Viktor has known in WWE. Along with his tag partner Konnor, he spent a bit of time in NXT before finally being called up on the last Raw of 2014. Despite the duo being dominant and over with the crowd in developmental, they have fallen flat on their faces on the main roster. This year has not been kind to Viktor. Now Konnor may not be long for the WWE world as well, but the man at least has more of a look than Viktor does, so there's the possibility he'll be repackaged down the line. Viktor just has not displayed the in-ring ability, promo skills or charisma that Vince McMahon looks for to be kept on the main roster. The Ascension has failed to connect with the audience, and they seem to be running out of time. It's not all their fault, as creative saddled them as Road Warrior rip-offs, but it's hard to imagine them suddenly getting an honest push, or Viktor breaking off on his own. As soon as another tag team or two get called up from developmental, The Ascenion may have to find a new wasteland to call home.
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
