10 WWE Wrestlers Most Likely To Be Released In 2016
3. Fandango
Fan-Dan-Going somewhere else in 2016? That is definitely a possibility. When Fandango first debuted, you could tell Vince McMahon was in love with the act. Then, like what happened with Brodus Clay and Los Matidores, he got bored of his new toy and moved onto something else. It's been almost three years since Fandango debuted on the roster, which means it's been almost three years since the act peaked. The original magic that he had is long gone, along with his original dancer and the fireworks sign that used to accompany him. Fandango is fine in the ring, but he's been pushed as so cartoonish for so long that repackaging him completely would be a lot of work. Just look at the past for gimmicks that sucked that permanently did a wrestler in. For every Isaac Yankem turning into Kane, there's 10 Red Roosters, T.L. Hoppers, Akeem the African Dreams and The Goons to dig your WWE career grave. And if nothing else, WWE already has a newer, younger, in love with himself, funny way of talking, aligned with Summer Rae wrestler named Tyler Breeze. Is there room enough for two on the roster?
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
