Surely it can’t be long until WWE pull the plug on Sanity? They have their fans, and each of them is generally pretty good at their job, but it's clear that the company have no intention of pushing them as a stable. They haven’t done anything of meaning in SmackDown’s tag division, and that scene already has enough enhancement teams, so why not send them on their merry way?

If and when that happens, Killian Dain is the most obvious candidate for elevation. He has more upside than Alexander Wolfe and the ageing Eric Young, and as an agile big man with a unique look, there’s definitely a nice for him somewhere on the card. He should really lose the grimy greebo gimmick though - if there’s one thing holding Sanity back, it’s that.

Dain has all the tools to become a solid upper-midcard someday. He could definitely step into the slot just beneath SmackDown’s main event scene, feuding with the likes of Samoa Joe, Jeff Hardy, Shinsuke Nakamura, and others, so let’s hope it happens in 2019.
