Braun Strowman and The Big Show are only 12 years apart at 36 and 48 respectively, but the latter's ultra professional handling of their programme in 2017 positioned the young pretender as a monster half his age and double his size.

The pair broke the ring with a superplex in a famous do-over of Show's original working of the spot Brock Lesnar (and/or his sequel to it with Mark Henry, but more on him shortly...) in a finish that hasn't ever been bastardised enough to get old, before Strowman took another chunk out of his aura in a bruising steel cage main event. Show's bumping was as big as he was, boldly inserting Strowman as the main roster's new goliath.

Much like Rob Van Dam winning all the belts on Raw before jobbing to Triple H in 2002, the relative newcomer genuinely looked empowered by his victories over the long-tenured giants that came before him. Big Show's big bumping was the best from this particular genre, but the former multi-time World Heavyweight Champion wasn't the only former titleholder to do the honours....
