10 WWE Wrestlers That NEED To Move To NXT

5. Shane Thorne

Poor Shane Thorne. The bloke had one of the most rollercoaster 2020’s out of all the wrestling world.

He was nowhere to be seen in early 2020 and then all of a sudden, in WWE’s need to bolster their roster mid-pandemic, he was moved to Raw. He and Duke Hudson (then known as Brendan Vink) became semi-regulars on the tag scene, even becoming associated with MVP as their manager. Then the poor man had a goofy Halloween mask strapped to his face and called Slapjack, by who we can only assume was a maniacally cackling Vince McMahon.

His time in RETRIBUTION was not well lived, as was the whole stable. Everybody and their mother knows how much of a flop that whole situation was.

Luckily, it’s in the past for him and he’s back to being Shane Thorne. As he’s shown many times before, the Aussie is outstanding in the ring and would fit seamlessly in NXT’s Midcard. Just imagine the magic that he and Isiah Scott could cook up over the North American Title. Plus, Kushida always needs new challengers in a scarce Cruiserweight division. The black and gold brand could definitely use him more than SmackDown.
