6. Mustafa Ali
Now Mustafa Ali might be on the path to adoration due to his leadership of the RETRIBUTION stable. His sudden character change and the trust placed in him could be a sign of favour from Vince and the creative team, or it could be setting him up for failure with a stable reviled by pretty much everyone so far. We'll have to see how it plays out but Ali deserves a big breakout moment.
It seemed like he was on the path to stardom following his scintillating Survivor Series 2018 match with Cruiserweight Champion Buddy Murphy, getting called up to SmackDown not long after and having a masterful performance with the World Champion Daniel Bryan. He was primed for big things, given a slot in the Men's Elimination Chamber and seemed to be a world champion in the making.
But then he suffered an injury, writing him out of the Chamber and derailing his momentum completely. Ever since, with the exception of a triple threat WWE Championship match at Fastlane, Ali has been on pre-shows, on Main Event and without any directions or angles, despite his natural charisma and athletic prowess. Hopefully this changes with RETRIBUTION.
