10 WWE Wrestlers The Internet Loves (But Vince McMahon Hates)
3. Shorty G
Chad Gable is one of the most gifted wrestlers in the company. He is a tag team wrestling genius, with American Alpha being one of the best tag teams of the 2010s and his thrown together duos with Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Roode providing excellence whenever given the opportunity to.
He is a former Olympic wrestler, with unbelievable mat wrestling abilities and a natural proclivity for storytelling inside the squared circle. Gable is charismatic, a natural babyface capable of investing audiences, but is also a wickedly talented and arrogant heel if he needs to be. He has it all and should be at the very least, a midcard champion that helps elevate his entire division with expert wrestling.
Unfortunately for him and all of his fans, in the land of the giants, Chad Gable is 5'8" and that's incredibly funny to Vince McMahon. Instead of being used to build up the tag division or strengthen the midcard, he was renamed Shorty G, given no direction following that character change and is now a jobber on SmackDown. If he was taller, he would be considered world champion material, but to Vince McMahon, his skills are irrelevant.
