10 WWE Wrestlers The Undertaker Faced Only Once

9. Bam Bam Bigelow

The Undertaker and Bam Bam Bigelow faced off against each in one-on-one competition 19 times in the World Wrestling Federation, with Bigelow coming out victorious on just the occasion. 'Taker won the rest of the matches, usually by count out.

Only one of these matches happened on WWE TV or pay-per-view however, on an episode of Superstars way back in 1993. The episode was billed as the Road to WrestleMania IX, where Taker would go up against Giant Gonzalez. As a result, Bobby Heenan and Vince McMahon consistently questioned whether 'Taker's decision to face Bam Bam was a wise one or not.

They needn't have bothered having the conversation, as Bam Bam and the Deadman went through the motions in a fairly mundane seven minute contest that ended with Bam Bam walking out on the match and giving 'Taker the predictable count out win.

Still, the match was better than 'Taker's subsequent bout with the Giant at the Show of Shows.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
