10 WWE Wrestlers The Undertaker Faced Only Once

4. Jake 'The Snake' Roberts

Jake 'The Snake' Roberts is featured in pretty much every Undertaker WrestleMania promo package. Roberts was the second individual to fall to 'Taker at the Show of Shows, and also the first victim not to subsequently be charged with murder. 'Taker made fairly easy work of Roberts at WrestleMania VIII of course, hitting Jake with a Tombstone on the floor for the win.

This would be the only singles match between the two on WWE TV, and the only singles match between the two of any kind. They have teamed with each other and faced off in tag teams on house shows, both around WrestleMania VIII and also during Jake's return in 1996.

If Jake Roberts had been in a better place during the Attitude Era then there is a good chance the careers of Undertaker and Jake would have been even more closely related. Alas, some things aren't meant to be.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
