The Undertaker and The Shield had a brief feud way back in 2013, a feud that saw 'Taker pick up a victory over Dean Ambrose before getting laid out by the trio, in a move that was initially meant to lead to match between The Shield and the Brothers of Destruction at SummerSlam that same year.

When people make lists of Undertaker matches they want to see in the modern WWE, the members of The Shield are invariably included. Any big time match featuring 'Taker and Reigns, Rollins, or Ambrose would be big business and a great spectacle to behold.

As it is The Lunatic Fringe is the only man to get that opportunity so far. The match itself was somewhat disappointing, with Ambrose predominantly in punch and kick mode against an ageing Deadman. A second encounter would certainly be better.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
