7. Dragon Lee

WWE is tough sledding for those who boast excellent in-ring skills but struggle when it comes to charisma or forging a connection with fans. That must be why Dragon Lee's only identifiable traits on SmackDown in 2024 include working reliably good matches and...smiling a lot. Yep, he's the resident babyface smiler.

Going under Rey Mysterio's learning tree hasn't worked out for Lee either. Sure, there's time for that to change, but WWE's creative team don't seem all that interested in doing anything of note with the pairing. It's one of those going-nowhere protege and mentor situations - Dragon exists to dip a toe into Rey's business so the legend can get angry at heels for threatening him.

That's it.

More will be needed if Lee is going to break out and become his own man eventually. Being brutally honest, he'd be better suited to AEW's in-ring-centric style. At least then Dragon would get some applause for showcasing his strengths during matches.
