6. Pete Dunne

Bringing Tyler Bate along for the ride is optional. There's no denying that Pete Dunne and Tyler work well as the New Catch Republic, and they'd be a credit to AEW's tag-team division. Imagine the quality of matches they could work vs. FTR, The Acclaimed and more? Those bouts would be stunning. Guaranteed.

Selfishly, this writer would like to see what Dunne could achieve solo. He's never actually had the chance to do that since moving up from NXT to WWE's main roster, and it'd be sweet if the 'Bruiserweight' showed Hunter what he was missing over on Tony Khan's shows. Is that a risk worth taking?

It depends on what Dunne wants from his career.

He may well be perfectly content in WWE, and that's great. Seeing him light it up vs. Will Ospreay, MJF, Bryan Danielson and others as a singles would be sweet though. Pete will probs never get the bigger bouts where he is. If he's happy, cool. If not, then AEW awaits.
