10 WWE Wrestlers Vince McMahon Couldn't Control

6. Brock Lesnar

No WWE superstar has a sweeter deal than Brock Lesnar at the moment. Not only is he the highest paid wrestler in the company ('The Beast' supposedly raked in a hefty $12 million salary in 2016), but he works fewer dates than almost anyone else, avoiding the notoriously strenuous WWE touring schedule in the process.

Lesnar essentially gets all of the good and none of the bad. He is in complete control of his professional situation, and while his part-time run has seen him lose favour with certain sects of the fanbase, this clearly isn't the case with his employers. Few wrestlers have been pushed as strongly as Brock since his 2012 return, and with the Universal Title currently wrapped around his waist, he's still one of the biggest stars in the sport.

Beyond the light schedule and bumper salary, Lesnar enjoys a number of other luxuries that aren't usually afforded to WWE superstars. The company allowed him to return to the UFC to fight Mark Hunt while still under control last year, and it was later revealed that his contract prevents him from being tested under the WWE Wellness Policy. He controls his career, not Vince McMahon, and that's never going to change.
