10 WWE Wrestlers Vince McMahon Loves (But The Internet Hates)
6. John Cena
John Cena is one of the most respected veterans of the past twenty years, having a workload like no other man in the business.
The single most requested Make a Wish personality, hosting children's awards and event shows around the world, wrestling 300 days a year for much of it, and with a colourful persona designed almost exclusively to be a role model to children in the modern-day. It's no understatement to say that Cena is this millennium's Hulk Hogan, and Vince loves him for the money he brings in.
Sadly, Big Match John took that moniker to heart and indulged himself in some of Hogan's less savoury backstage behaviour. Booked in matches that he should have lost to get the next big things over, Cena got a name for himself burying upcoming talent. Whether demanding they change their finishers because it once landed badly and looked slightly like his or simply coming back and shellacking almost the entire Nexus, Cena holds some responsibility for the dearth of new big names in the WWE over the past ten years, and the fans know it.
