10 WWE Wrestlers Vince McMahon Loves (But The Internet Hates)
4. Jaxson Ryker
Jaxson Ryker is... shall we say controversial? During the Black Lives Matter protests that went global in 2020, Ryker decided to stand with then-President Donald Trump against a people who were being systemically oppressed, pushing the narrative of the Forgotten Sons as a militia that opposed the protests.
A thoughtless move, and summed up brilliantly by the gift that is Kevin Owens:-
And then posts surfaced from 2019 that showed, rather than the character Jaxson Ryker, this may be the actual performer Chad Lail speaking. In those posts, he shows no empathy for people suffering or even any understanding of the BLM movement. This has brought the expected levels of backlash his way and led to him being repackaged recently.
But Jaxson Ryker looks like he does and Vince likes what he likes. Add in that Vince and Donald Trump are billionaire buddies who openly support each other, and Ryker is only moving up the card after statements like that, even even as his fellow Forgotten Son, Steve Cutler, is being released, while Wesley Blake has been hauled off television again.
