10 WWE Wrestlers Who Are Having A Very Bad 2022

2. Finn Bálor

Now ex-United States Champion Finn Bálor defended that belt exactly once on TV during his 49 days in the title hot seat. That sole defence was his loss to Theory on the 18 April Raw. Yep, one match in front of the cameras as champ. What was the point of this reign?

Bálor didn't even get the dignity of a lower-card berth on either 'Mania card for his troubles. His entire supershow experience was on the dire "WrestleMania SmackDown" right before Dallas - WWE pretended that winning their Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal would be a bigger career highlight for Finn than appearing on the biggest show(s) of the year.

They could pretend all they liked. Nobody was fooled.

The Irishman still enters top performances when called upon, but his relevance as a credible act has faded terribly over the past few years. 2022 has been a year to forget for Finn thus far.
