10 WWE Wrestlers Who Are Having A Very Bad 2022

1. Big E

How upsetting was this?

Big E was WWE Champion when calendars turned to 2022. Fast forward to late-April and he's sitting at home with a brace on nursing his broken neck. In truth, E's problems started long before Ridge Holland carelessly dropped him on his head during the 11 March SmackDown.

WWE's decision-makers blatantly gave up on the New Day man's title push in a heartbeat. All the excitement and emotion that surrounded his coronation on the 13 September Raw faded fast once it became clear that creative didn't know how to book him as a serious, deserving champion who ruled the flagship with an iron fist.

Still, E only dropped the belt because Roman Reigns missed Day 1 with COVID concerns. That shunted Brock Lesnar from Universal Title challenger to WWE Title pursuer, and there was no way WWE were going to have Brock lose.

Big E likely thinks 2022 can get right in the bin already.
