10 WWE Wrestlers Who Are Having A Very, Very Bad 2020

2. King Corbin

History is littered with men who inherited a crown that was beyond them, men who took on the mantle of king without the credibility and integrity to back it up. King Corbin is merely the latest, the newest name on a wrestling ledger that includes Billy Gunn, Mabel and more.

Corbin continues to suck up air time on SmackDown, feuding with babyfaces and putting a halt to any and all momentum that they may have. The only solace that fans can take is that the former Baron seems to get his comeuppance more often than not, often in comical ‘80s style. Back in January, his eternal feud with Roman Reigns came to an end with a series of gimmick matches, the most notable of which saw Corbin covered in dog food. It was disgusting.

Corbin then segued into a turgid feud with Elias of all people, with The Drifter picking up the win at WrestleMania. Corbin recently put the former Samson out of action, but Baron’s win/loss ledger for 2020 is just about as grim as it gets; eight matches, six defeats, just a solitary pinfall win. When this is extended to house shows, Corbin has the worst win/loss record of any main roster superstar with more than 10 matches; played 25, lost 22.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
