10 WWE Wrestlers Who Are Impossible To Care About

6. Apollo Crews

WWE have jumped the gun on a number of NXT call-ups in recent years, but few were more premature than Apollo Crews. A tremendous athlete and an eye-catching wrestler, he was a good prospect, but left the Performance Center while still in the formative stages of his developmental as a WWE superstar. He arrived on the main roster as an unseasoned performer with a glaring charisma deficiency, and this hasn't changed.

Crews' character has never evolved beyond "bald guy who smiles a lot." He has been locked into a number of programs, but he has never been given microphone time, and has no discernible personality traits. We're at a stage where half the main roster referees probably have stronger characters than Crews, whose Raw/SmackDown existence has been relatively pointless.

Linking up with Titus O'Neil hasn't benefited Crews at all. Akira Tozawa has since supplanted Apollo as his manager's favourite client, and he has been relegated to a sidekick role. Sending him back to NXT would be of great benefit to him, but it'd take some heavy convincing to turn even the Full Sail University crowd to his side, such is the apathy surrounding him.
