10 WWE Wrestlers Who Are Missing Right Now

3. Otis

It'd be a damning insight into WWE's creative policy if Otis' current AWOL status was explained with the old 'creative has nothing for you right now' chestnut. The dude is one of the most popular babyfaces on the roster, just won Money In The Bank in May and should be on TV every week.

That's not the case. Otis' last match came on the 8 June edition of SmackDown, and he's barely been seen since, either in promos or pre-taped segments. This is very weird considering he's been pushed heavily and will presumably become a contender for the Universal Title at some point before the end of the year.

What's going on?

The Wrestling Observer did suggest in late-June that Otis might be wrapped up in the ongoing health scare currently sweeping the globe. Specifically, Meltzer hinted that the ham-loving funny man took himself out of the game as a precautionary measure. That'd explain why he hasn't been on TV.
