8. CM Punk

Some say that CM Punk has a bit of a chip on his shoulder, but you might too if you spent eight years in the WWE locker room.

Take, for example, the time that Punk was allegedly left out in the cold for wearing the wrong clothes backstage. He strutted around in jeans and hoodies, apparently, instead a the three-piece suit presumably favoured by the likes of John Cena and Batista, which was said to have angered - of all people - The Undertaker.

By way of punishment, the the 'Straight Edge Superstar' was promptly stripped of his World Heavyweight Championship at Hell in a Cell in October 2009. A few months in the dog house followed, which Punk appears to have spent working on the hacked-off anti-hero persona he began using a couple of years later.

How he got his way back on the "nice" list isn't exactly clear (it's very possible that he had some dirt on Vince McMahon) - but, however it came about, it's probably fair to say that he won't be repeating the trick. At least not until hell freezes over.
