10 WWE Wrestlers Who Could Thrive In AEW

7. Apollo Crews

Whether he's been part of Titus Worldwide or teaming with Ember Moon in inconsequential mixed tag matches on Raw, Apollo Crews hasn't been able to show the same fire he did as Uhaa Nation on the independent circuit. There's a malaise afflicting every single one of his WWE performances.

Anyone who watched him in Dragon Gate pre-WWE (or even in NXT when he did sign) will know his current role is a complete waste of talent.

Crews can fly, and he has more personality than he's allowed to show on Monday nights. Something has been lost in translation since joining WWE, and it's confusing to his biggest fans. Again, much like Tye Dillinger, leaving guaranteed money behind to venture back onto the indys would be tough, but it could be for the best.

By returning to his Uhaa Nation roots in AEW, Apollo would be reinvigorated quickly. His combination of flying and power moves wouldn't be held against him there, and neither would the fact he's struggled to get to grips with WWE's heavily-scripted, unnatural promo style.
