10 WWE Wrestlers Who Deserve A Singles Match At WrestleMania

These ten stars have yet to get their just due at The Show of Shows.

Mere months into his WWE run, AJ Styles had the honor of wrestling his very first WrestleMania match on April 1. Even in defeat, it was almost a dream come true to see The Phenomenal One in action on the grand stage when WWE could have very easily shoe-horned him into the multi-man Intercontinental Championship Ladder match. However, there are countless other stars who have been a part of the company for far longer that haven't shared that same privilege.

Speaking of said Ladder match, Dolph Ziggler was among the participants, which should have come as no surprise given his role as enhancement talent at recent installments. Of the seven matches he has had at WrestleMania, he's won only one of them, though none of them were singles matches. The same can be said for Kofi Kingston who, despite his lengthy tenure in the company, has yet to compete in a one-on-one match at The Show of Shows.

For some stars, that goal will be virtually impossible to achieve based on their lowly ranked status in the company, especially if they will be on their way out of WWE sooner rather than later. But there's no denying that they at least deserved the honor of getting the spotlight shined solely on them at the spring spectacle.

10. Kalisto

When It Should Have Happened: The Lucha Dragons likely would have been in line for a WWE Tag Team Championship reign in 2015 had New Day not gotten hot when they did. As a result, they faded off into the background of the tag team division, though Sin Cara's abrupt injury allowed Kalisto to break off on his own in singles competition going into 2016.

Quickly capturing the United States Championship from Alberto Del Rio at the onset of the new year, Kalisto embarked on a fun run as champion and was on a collision course with Ryback en route to WrestleMania 32. However, one week ahead of the event, their match was bumped from the main card to the Kickoff show. And no, competing on the Kickoff show does not count as competing at WrestleMania. Just ask The Usos.

Chances Of It Happening In the Future: If WWE can stay the course with Kalisto and not relegate him to the tag team division with the damaged Sin Cara, a singles match for him at WrestleMania 33 is probable. I hate to say that anyone is the next anyone, but he can fill the void Rey Mysterio left behind as WWE's top Hispanic star. You know, the spot they tried to fill with Alberto Del Rio but failed miserably.
