10 WWE Wrestlers Who Desperately Need New Finishers

1. Damian Priest

While Cody shouldn't have called out Damian Priest for doing a butchered version of the Cross Rhodes as his finisher, he wasn't wrong. It isn't a great finish for him whatsoever, especially since it pales in comparison to Cody's.

What's strange is that Priest wasn't using the rolling cutter before joining WWE. As Punishment Martinez, he primarily finished off his opponents was South of Heaven, a sit-out chokeslam. That was way more befitting of his build and made sense, but maybe NXT called for the change because of how the chokeslam has been done by many other big men who came before him in the company.

Regardless of the reason, The Reckoning (despite its badass name) hasn't clicked yet for Priest and there's a good chance it never will. It looks clunky whenever he hits it on smaller opponents, not to mention how the move isn't the most devastating to begin with.

Cody executes it with such ease and in style that it isn't as egregious as when Priest performs it.

A crucifix powerbomb would be a much better finisher for him. It's simple, powerful and would accentuate his strength nicely. There's no need for him to continue giving Cody ammo by utilizing the move he made famous, so it'd be best for Priest to ditch it before more damage is done.
